Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university, or equivalent
Active veterinarian licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Texas
Skilled in companion animal wellness and preventive care medicine required; experience in general surgery and general dentistry preferred
A commitment to the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
Passion for collaborating with other doctors, staff and leadership to improve patient outcomes drive clinic success
Midweek availability is a requirement - you will be providing wellness services on Wednesdays and Thursdays
Job Description
Supervise veterinary technicians and assistants during the administration of vaccines, dewormings, and other wellness services
Ensure compliance with veterinary procedures, ethics, policies and relevant statutes
At the veterinarian's discretion, examine and care for sick or injured animals on a walk-in basis. Additional compensation provided for examinations.
